Default AGM30 Gas engine

Anyone bought one of these yet, just seem to be new on the market, great price in UK around £118 on ebay

Supposed to be using a walbro WT-759 carb but dont know about IGN always weary on ignition systems.

Would like to know length from head to prop driver for fitting in a tight cowl but cant see it on the drawing, the whole thing looks similar to a DLE30.

Would have been tasty if they had of made it rear exhaust rather than just doing the same as everyone else.

It doesn't just look like a DLE 30, it's practically the same engine but with a genuine Walbro. I'm very interested to see how these engines hold up to the test of time.

As the first gas engine factory that set up warehouse and cervices center in USA , AGM-ENGINE able to marketing our products with lowest price . also offer local services to end user in USA. best part is we not only supply AGM engine but also help other RC factory to do the same . offer products as factory price with US local services . like this new engine (coming later Sep)

Nice that you have engines available, a service center state side, and a new engine coming soon, but you still haven't told us if there will be parts available?

I hope so just bought the AGM30 on ebay uk

So long as they are actual dealers and not just resellers I would suspect they will have parts, a proper dealer would also break an engine for parts if needed.

Sounds like wishfull thinking from where I'm sitting....ESPECIALLY for the fact I've asked this same question, and received this same response, on 3 different forums.

That carb number doesn't come up on Walbro web site and and that muffler isn't polished as advertised.

I think he is referring to the text on your website which says "polished aluminium muffler" but I'd say it is a translation problem.

My favourite line is "These are the highest quality and aircraft-grade RC upgrades products in the market, which can be able to handle all the adventures of your RC airplane."

I am hoping my aeroplane wont be having any adventurers

I don't see any explanation yet for the similarity between the AGM30 and the DLE30. Every item in the spec.is identical to it's DLE counterpart, bore, stroke, compression ratio, etc. Are the engines manufactured in the same plant? Are there are no patent or copyright infringements? Is AGM a subsidiary of DLE? Just curious.

do you import Walbro carbs from Japan to China or are they made in China ?

most chinese companies get engines parts from the same supplier, since DLE30 is no longer manufacturer I'm pretty sure they are using DLE30 molds.

Walbro have factory in China more than 20 years . and start to build small carb about 2011 . we just order the carb that fit what we need . no matter it build in Walbro China factory or import from Japan. same quality and almost same price . for the 64CC single engine and 60CC twin, sure 64cc single engine go with this program. but for 60CC twin . not sure until the factory tell us "GO" . and we do that . (60CC twin engine is not from AGM. it's from other engine factory .so we need permit from engine factory to do that . I let you know when engine factory OK or not.

Try before you buy deal, you would have to be happy with your product before offering that.
