Default crrc 26 CDI on DLE 20?

I have a spare crrc GF26 ignition module. Would this work with a DLE20 if the Spark plug cap was changed?

The dle 20 cdi has a resistor in the plug cap while the crrc cdi does not. Should I remove the resistor from the dle 20 cap before using it with the crrc cdi or does it matter?

How old is the CRRC 26cc ignition ? As i known CRRCPRO have changed several times of CDI supplier . The latest one should be good !
Some old one may have different timing setting compare to the RCCDI , you`d better test timing before use it .

I'm not sure about interchangability, but I can tell you that the resistor is necessary unless you're using a resistor type plug. As the CM-6 is not a resistor plug, you'll want to install that resistor in the boot.

Correct , the standard spark plug CRRC GF26I use is CMR7H , which is a resistor type plug.

I tried it without the resistor before reading the second last post and it didnt work. I went ahead and ordered a standard rcexl ignition for the dle 20. I will try the crrc cdi with the resistor just to see will it work

After hearing it doesn't work the first thing that pops to mind is that your ignition might have been good and your Hall sensor might have been bad.

The older style CRRC CDI and DLE Hall sensor do not match. Diffrent wiring. The CRRC GP26R use an Rcexl CDI, same as the DLE20. This you can interchage, but the GF range use there own brand CDI.
