Default DLE 30 CC Rear Carb .. Fuel Tank

I'm putting together an EF 70" Exrtra 300 and I'm going to use a DLE 30 cc .

Will an 8 oz tank be large enough for the 30cc to give me 10 minutes of air time?

Thoughts?

thanks
Chuck

My vote = a little too small. You might get by with it, but I prefer landing with something left in the gas tank?

If tuned properly your 30cc engine will use a little over 1 ounce per minute at full throttle. But you have to also allow for starting, warm up, taxi and take off, plus landing and taxi back.

I would want at least a 12 ounce tank.

My 30 is set up with a 16 ounce tank. It used to have a 12 ounce but I kept landing deadstick. It is in a H-9 T-Craft.

I just ordered a 16 oz tank. Better to be safe than sorry.
