Cracked carb insulator on a ZP Zenoah 38cc
I just bought from a french online hobby shop a ZP Zenoah 38 cc only to discover that the carb insulator is cracked in the area where the screws that are holding the carb are inserted.
Not sure if the crack is going all the way in so it may not affect the good function of the engine but anyway I will like to replace the insulator.
Sending the engine back is not an option in my case.
Looking on the internet for the faulty part I found 2 types of insulators compatible with the Zenoah 38.
First one (first picture), made out of some kind of black plastic looks very close to what I have on the engine now.
Second one, made out of some white-ish plastic my be the same thing but rather looking like a aftermarket replacement.
What should work in my case ? Advices ? Opinions ? Both of them are compatible with my engine ?

Mine has the black one and came that way, stick with that. The other one is no doubt after market and may be of lesser quality. This an easy replacement just do not over tighten the carb bolts as that is what caused the cracks in the first place.
My opinion..........

Just bought one from ebay. Shipping cost from Horizon to my corner of the world is prohibitive. Fingers crossed but in the same time is only 3 bucks.
