Let me see if I got this straight. This glow engine costs $50 more than a CDI engine that has $134 worth if ignition components. It will be less user friendly & less reliable. All this to eliminate about 2oz in an airframe that will weigh 8# more. A glow plug is worth $184?

There really is a sucker born every minute!

I second that motion!
We have one of the GT15's at our field, and it is a sweet running engine! I only wish it had been available at the time I went with the EVO GX15cc gasser.
When I get the Sig 1/5th scale Cub I've been working on finished, the Saito .91 that's been already been mounted inverted WILL get a CH CDI conversion kit
Did I say I hate messing with glow drivers??

How many times are you going to say it . I think we all get your position on this engine . Pretty much every thing in this hobby is overpriced so whining about just this engine is a joke ! Cheers the pope

I'm using an FA-91S inverted running on CDI in my Wings Maker 1/5 scale Cub. It's turning a 15 x 5 Zinger @ 9700 RPM, about 200 RPM better than on GI W/25% better fuel economy.

Try one and see and let us no how it works.Be sure and use a gas oil mix that is right for a bushing type engine.Usually about 10% oil.
