they say that will be coming in the future
9 is fine by me now and it is light enough for my plane with more than enough power
my break in prop is a Beile 28x16 4 blade and it makes max rpm with no trouble

you get what you pay for so they are more than a moki but not by much if you compare the Moki 7cyl they are about the same but you get 2 extra cyl
full scale looks better sound and electric fuel pump is included not an expensive extra

That is super awesome. it runs and sounds great. I think you have yourself a winner there too. That is a really nice airplane to put it in as well. That is going to look and sound great together.

just got the new hub and blades
the hub is built by the same guys at Pegasus engines and is a perfect match.
it is a splined hub
The 4 blades are custom carbon fiber 29.5 inch really nice carbon weave and full gloss
the hub is able to change pitch on the ground and is really easy to operate , just loosen the hub screws and turn a dial re-tighten screws, all done .
it only takes about 2 mins to do so you can try many different pitch angles til you get just the right amount
So you can get max rpm and max pitch for max thrust ,,awsome

Thumbs down Pegasus R9 Beware!

This radial engine looks beautiful...but do not put it into something you treasure. The Ignition is JUNK...In fact the engine has never been flown with that ignition (big black Heavy Box with wires coming off everywhere 18 to be exact!!!......It puts off more RF than a 50,000 w radio station. Additionally...the Fuel pump is junk...and the plug wires come off while running and spark jumps through them, don't believe me...crank that up at night.....And if you ask for help or advice...NO ONE has a clue.... This engine was hurried into production because of so much infighting in the companies responsible for building it and You the consumer are the victims. So buyer beware...there are RF warnings all over the instruction manual and they are right!!!....additionally no product support because of litigation issues...you will NEVER get a straight answer from Pegasus ...So...as always ... fly at your own risk...for me...even though it may be a lot less engine...Moki 250...is what I am changing to...Today!!! It's a beautiful engine...runs...but I would not fly it... Having the makers say "Oops...sorry about that..." it's not my responsibility" or "I have no idea why they did that...I never intended it to be built like that"....always gives you a great feeling.....OH! There is a new ignition being made right now (C&H Ignitions)...maybe that will cure some problems....$500 more dollars to add to that beautiful engine...It's a work of art...no argument. Why it was screwed up pushing it to market is beyond me.....

If someone has flown that engine please let me know....I would certainly like to keep mine...and fly it...

I noticed you changed the plug wires...did you ever run the engine in the air? If so...how did it perform...
