Default OS 155 Alpha fourstroke conversion to Gas

Hi all,
was wondering if anyone has converted an OS 155 Alpha to petrol. It is a pumped engine, so was wondering if the pump will handle the gasoline/petrol.

There are ignition modules and spark plugs available, and looks like many examples of Glow to petrol conversions exist, but all the ones I can find don't have an existing pump on the engine.

Any thoughts and ideas appreciated.

The pump will not handle petroleum products. The rubber/plastic parts will be severely affected and the pump will fail. That engine is for methanol/castor/nitro fuels only (of course, you can use an appropriate synthetic oil in lieu of the castor).

Thank you for your reply. I'll keep the Alpha on methanol, and look at the GF30 at some stage.

Interesting,
Found on the OS site, the Alpha 155 and the GF 30 have exactly the same part number.
