Default VVRC 20cc Gas Engine & Sig Four Star 60?

Will the VVRC 20cc engine mount onto the 4 Star 60 without modifications to firewall area?

I think you want to look at the 15cc gassers. 20 cc is going to be a bit big.

Big how? Displacement or weight?

The weight of a 20cc is almost identical to a 15cc.

Size. I built a .60 super sportster. Had a 20cc and an evolution 10cc. 20cc was just too big. 10cc fit great but was a little low on power. The new 15cc from OS looks like a real contender.

I have the EVO 15cc and originally had it mounted on a full wing kit built 4 Star 60. Plenty of power, but not quite unlimited vertical. On the lighter constructed 4 Star 64 ARF (clipped wing) it's a rocket. I rarely use full throttle.
If you go with the EVO rather than the OS, you'll very quickly be ordering a replacement muffler for the OS GT15 (perfect fit on the EVO 15) or some other aftermarket muffler. The EVO mufflers are a disaster

Hear are a few pics of my 4 star 60 with a VVRC 21cc conversion. The only mods were moving the blind nuts on the fire wall out a little as the gas motor was just a touch wider. I used the motor mounts that came with the 21cc from valley view as the mount for the 91fs was a little short.

I have seen Checklist fly that plane on two different days in the last couple of weeks and it flys great! That engine pulls the plane very nicely. He did a very nice job mounting the engine.
