Thrust buttons don't usually work on gas engines because the cylinder walls are not continuous. They have intake ports that would snag the buttons. It could be done but would require redesign of the ports to provide a solid cylinder wall for the buttons to work against.

The Mintor line of engines has the poorest set of wrist pin keepers I have ever seen .It supprises me that any of them stay in place long enough to make it thru the first tank.

A keeper like the DLE engines use would be fine, or even an eclip type of a keeper ,but a .020 round wire that fits in a groove is not the best thing I have seen. Plus there a bugger to remove and replace.

Thanks, you sure are right. That small .020 dia wire is not so good at all.

Best Regards John

Good morning my RCU friends. I've been trying to reach Captnjohn but PM's don't work so hopefully even though this is a very old thread he might see my posting and respond. Cheers.
