New KCS Engine

Nice attitude there Aerogaser dude. I can see you must have happy customers with that type of spitefulness. I have heard you spew your nonsense elsewhere as well.
I made an observation, constructively so, about a nice looking engine and a concern about the muffler and made a comment based on years of experience with gas engines and their mufflers.
I don't fly 30cc engines, don't use muffler gaskets, and I will come back and make a comment that I feel is applicable to any particular thread as I see fit.
By the way, what happend with the other 20% of your customers?

I've been flying gassers since '97 mostly IMAC practice and contests with literally thousands of flights. In all that time I have broken two mufflers running either factory supplied gaskets or no gaskets at all but with high temp silicon. Also in all that time I have not heard of a " carbon " gasket. Can a picture of such gasket be posted and a short explanation as to how it insulates the muffler from vibration?

KCS I am looking for a new engine. We have sportsman pylon racing here in the states where we fly 50-65cc engines in old warbirds and race them. This would also be a good chance to test your engine against the other planes out there. Most guys run EVO 58s or DA 60. my email is [email protected] send me an email if you would like to discuss using one of your engines in a race plane. thanks

if the carbon gaskets work that would be great.i can see that they would not compress as much if at all.
are the gaskets made any different way to hold up to the heat?
now i just use high temp silicon and no gasket, been working good for years.
