Agreed. I think Bill really does care. He has over 875 posts. Would that come from someone who doesn't really care. I think he just likes to act grumpy for whatever reason. I appreciate his knowledge.

When JediJody says timing should be 28 degrees, you can bet I believe him. I think he is the most knowledgable two stroke engine guy there is anywhere.

Your right Capt. where do they come up with the #### they do I cant see how they get them to run !!!!!!

either they cant read a degree wheel or they don't know how to use one !!!! R/L

RiverLarry,

I think you finally figured it out . They probably don't know how to use one (degree wheel). There are several you tube videos to help them out only if they take the time to check them out. Looks like the DLE manual that states 40+ degrees BTDC for timing has got his head all messed up. I am sure he will get it all figured out maybe latter than sooner...

Really good to hear from you. I only got to fly 2-3 times...then my Carpal Tunnel hit bad. I had the surgery about 15 days ago, and my left hand is still numb...fingers are working about 50% travel. Not fun at all. Hope to see you at the Cedar Springs Fly-in Labor day week-end. Take care my Friend
