Default bolts for aluminum stand off

The aluminum bolts that came with the standoffs for my DLE 35 are too short for the thickness of the firewall. Where can aluminum bolts of the same strength be purchased. Ordinary aluminum bolts are too soft.

thanks

I have never seen aluminum bolts supplied with standoffs and if they were, I would not use them. AFAIK, DLE bolts are zinc plated steel.

Yep, Lowe's, Home Cheapo, Ace, they all sell a pretty good supply of hardware. JTL Fasteners in Norfolk, VA. sells RC hardware if you care to go that route.

Yep, magnet picks them up, they are steel. They fooled me because they feel lighter than other steel bolts that are in my box of bolts. McMaster does have a good selection of zinc plated metric parts.
Thanks guys
