Bill Jenson's website says he is still selling parts but not servicing engines . I would contact him first then try kangke usa as they are the primary seller of Brison
http://www.bj-model-engines.com/
http://www.kangkeusa.com/gasengines.htm
More than likely the loss of compression is a stuck ring if so I would contact Frank Bowman for new ring(s)

If Bill doesn't have the parts you can go here to Arthur Leung. Dan.

Caber rings are the world standard. They are available from many sources in the USA. They are made in Italy. I just happen to get mine from either Greece or Israel. Takes a couple weeks.

Due to current events in Greece - - It might be best to source them from the USA?

Is the cylinder and piston in good condition? Maybe the ring is stuck in the groove and reusable. I bought a used 2.4 two years ago that had zero compression. Was perfect after a good cleanup. I'd inspect before buying parts.

Bill Jensen will be you're best bet. You will also need a cylinder gasket. Dan.

You can make you own by using an rcexl sensor and setting it in epoxy resin . I used a straw of the correct I.D as the form and just cut the straw away after the epoxy cured.

The round sensors come in two styles .... side sense and end sense. Different years used the different styles though all of the later sensors will be side sense. You can buy the sensors from RC Extreme Power and adapt these to the Brison in either configuration as the RCXP Hall sensor is attached to the wire lead but not assembled into the housing. For the side sense configuration you'd just assemble the sensor into your existing round housing. I've also bought spare sensors from Bill Jensen and I'm sure Adrian at CH would also have them.

Glad to hear your 2.4 is back in running condition. Darn good old engines!

yes, I did that once with the rcxp sensor and ignition after the original one smoked,, for some reason the pick up went bad, I can get one from tower for the DLE cheap, but I bought a new oem mechanical advance ignition, I was going to put it back to the stock set up. I need the one that's the end cap design,, Hoped some one has one laying around they don't need.
