Took the carb apart and cleaned it,now it runs but will not shut off with throtleing butterfly closed and choke butterfly closed,what do I have wrong??

Sounds like a big air leak somewhere. I'm betting it won't idle down well either, right?

Make sure that the gasket on the cover with the four screws is against the cover not the body of the carburetor. Also check both mounting gaskets. Dan

Yes,wants to idle high,looks like the plastic isolator block is warped,waiting on a new one now,along with a carb just in case.
