Default DLE 35ra fuel consumption rate

Hello, in the process of installing a DLE 35 rear exhaust in a 1/5 scale chipmunk. my first gasser. I usually fly about 12-13 minute flights with my glow planes, how big a tank do I need if I want a couple min buffer (15 min total)? most flying done about 3/4 throttle.
Thanks, Brian

12 oz would work, 14 is better. Some will depend on how hard you fly it! mine has a 14 oz and about 10-12 mins and I have about a third left. Best be safe.

Wow, that is a lot less than I would have thought! I have plenty of room for a 16oz tank so I think I go with that! thanks for the fast reply! I already have a 22oz tank for the project, I think that will become the smoke tank instead!

The general rule of thumb for small 2 stroke gas engine fuel consumption is: displacement = fuel consumption for 1 minute at full throttle. 35cc=1.18 oz. That will give around 14 minutes at full throttle and considerably longer at reduced throttle on a 16 oz tank.
