Default DA100L low RPM

I need help. I have a fairly new DA100L. short stock mufflers. several props. No matter what I do, I cannot get the RPMs to exceed 6000. the most I can achieve is 5700. I have used 3 blade, 2 blade, 27x10, 25 x 12 3 blade. regular gas, high octane gas, different oils and content. (%).

Sounds about right

Go flying and use the prop where the plane flies the best

I wouldn't want to fly it with the top RPM that low, you're asking to overheat the engine. You're near Sea Level so it should turn that 27X10 two blade in the mid to high sixes.

At our altitude of 4500' ASL, we generally run 26x10's on the DA-100 and will get in the high sixes. I'd try a smaller prop and see what happens. There's always a possibility that something isn't kosher with the engine as well. Have you given DA a call? If not I'd suggest starting there.

According to the manual, your engine is performing normally for a new engine. After you get a few hours on it, the engine will pick up a little faster.
