Need help.
What is a carb?
It is a small casting with a bunch of holes, machined surfaces and parts.
Why buy another?
Because the holes and machined surfaces have been ruined and are no longer usable.
OK :
1 A lot of people replace things that are not the problem.
2 A lot of people replace parts and are sure they put them in right and they don't work.
3 A lot of people blame some seller for sending a bad part.
Disclaimer: I represent nobody but myself.
OK: You now own 2 good (in my opinion) carbs for one engine. Stop buying carbs.
In this hobby you learn how to do things, or pay someone to do them for you. Don't think on this too long, are you rich or unable is the real meaning?
Unable: send it out to someone.
Able:
There are a lot of videos on you-tube on how to repair replace carbs, watch at least 5. You will be almost an expert by then.
Do not stop there, rebuild one of your carbs "twice" (you heard me twice).
Next remove and replace the rebuilt carb twice on your engine, and try to run it. Now we can have a discussion.
I no longer bother to find Walbro OEM parts. I just buy what the market offers. Good enough for one season.
So IMHO you might have needed a carb rebuild kit (when simple cleaning and adjustment is not enough).
You now have a completely new carb that you probably installed wrong (happens all the time I have done it myself).
So move on.
I currently buy my rebuild kits on Amazon $6.
Were there any symptoms?

But, to keep the economy moving Walbro WT793-1 is a perfect match.
In Chicago LSD stands for Lake Shore Drive, there is even a popular song about it. I wasn't on it though when I answered.
Easy search

Check and make sure you have the pump pulse hole lined up right with the carb block,
If not the engine will run on the choke prime and then stop because the pump is not working.

It can be rotated but more than likely it will break in the process. Easiest thing to do is just buy a new one and the all metal version is much more durable. You can buy the replacement from Horizon as a Zenoah part or from B&B here ....

You can try to turn and remove the existing one by grasping it firmly and squarely with some pliers then reinsert in the desired position. I use a tiny, tiny bit of JB Weld on the outside as a sealer during reinsertion though you want to make sure none gets into the fuel passages.
I always keep one of the metal fittings in my parts for use during new installations or carb repairs.
