Default smoke tank

hi
i like to put a smoke system in my plane with a satio fg 14 gas engine ,can u tell me how to plump the tank,thanks

You plumb a smoke tank the same as your fuel tank. The clunk line goes to the pump and the vent line bleeds overboard. Tee the clunk line for filling. Make sure your smoke tank is smaller than your fuel tank. A great cheap/cheaper smoke oil is 1/3 diesel fuel, 1/3 kerosene, 1/3 transmission fluid. Hope this helps.

Does that mix leave a residue? I've been using that expensive aviation smoke oil. Makes good smoke and is pretty clean but at about $29 a gallon.

Smoke systems work but not that well on these small gassers/engines. Don't get your hopes too high !
