Default Carb leaking fuel bad.....

So, got a G26EI thats used.......engine looks pretty good. Tried to start it today for the 1st time. I couldn't get a single pop BUT, I did get LOTS of fuel and I had a good spark. The carb was just sitting there "leaking/dripping" fuel from the venturi and the mounting bolts/needle valves. I guess the metering thing is askew?????
What do I need to do from here to fix this?

BTW, each time I took the plug out, it was holding a pool of gas!

Thanks!!

There should be a Walbro model number on it, order a rebuild kit or take it to your local chainsaw/lawn mower shop, they should be able to help. If all else fails, order a new carb from Horizon Hobbies.

A simple carb rebuild kit should fix the problem. I'm not sure which carb your engine has on it but it will be either a Walbro K10-WAT or a K20-WAT. If I had to guess, I'd get the K20 kit. Maybe someone will chime in with the exact kit you need. Under $10 from multiple Ebay sources. Insist on a genuine Walbro kit and not an unbranded Chinese knock off.

Well, I took the carb off, took everything out and cleaned it good and she's running like a champ!!! No leaking fuel either! I think the needle valve inside had some teeny debri.

Yep, me too! I've since ran the engine several times and everything is the way it should be. It is a really nice running little engine.....I've always loved my Zenoahs!!!!!
