Default Walbro in Carby gauze filters

Is there a proper name for these?

I am trying to get some replacements and neither Ebay or google seems to be giving me a lead so I am wondering if I am using the wrong search term.

Don't forget I am in the UK if you are recommending any suppliers.

They are not gauze, they are a very fine mesh metal screen. They are just called a screen and the same size fits all normal Walbro carbs used on model aircraft engines. One is provided in each carb kit or they are available as a separate part.

There you are - as Winston Churchill said "two nations divided by a common language". I would have called it wire gauze (obviously not fabric) and for us a screen is on a TV or similar.

Anyhow I have googled walbro mesh screen and a ebay seller comes up immediately.

Thank you very much.

Over here we would consider gauze to be something made of cotton for use on an injury. Glad you found what you needed!
