Default Can You ID This Motor?

I need some help!

I want to identify a gas motor that I have but it has virtually NO markings on it.

The only markings I can find is "100 2.6 Made in Canada" that has been hand scribed into it.

I bought it "used" in 2007 then had a massive stroke. I was sure that when I bought it, sight unseen, I was told it was a BME Extreme 115 which is a TWO CYLINDER engine.

I need to identify it so please help if you have any idea.

looks like an old Quadra 100 from the 80's?

But the 2.6 is confusing?

Bennett was big on Quadras

The BME's and Brisson's had CD ignition

Yes it is one of the big Quadras. Good old engines. I doubt you would ever wear one out. They run well but shake a bit by modern standards.

Looks like a Quadra but the case looks like it was custom made as it doesn't seem to have the typical Quadra casting marks.
