So I broke the starter spring (after about 5 flying seasons) on my G62. this is a Horizon Hobbies starter, not a Bennett... they ARE different. Horizon does not sell just the spring for the G62, you have to buy the complete starter assy. They do, however, sell just the spring for the GT80/445 for 6 bucks! Does anyone know if they are the same springs? I've asked the folks at Horizon...they don't know...

I can't help with your question about it being the same. But have some old starter springs from a friend that recently passed. PM or email me if you are interested and I'll take some pics. If they work I would send them to you for the cost of shipping.
