Smile Fuji 43 ... need a carburator and insulator block

I just acquired a Fuji 43 gas engine that does not have the carburetor..... or the insulator block that goes between the engine and the carburetor... This was a friends engine and ran great... he hit a tree and broke the carb and the insulator... He gave up trying to find a fix as Fuji parts are hard to come by...

Is there a carburetor and insulator out there that will fit this engine....? Do you know where I can get these parts.... either Fuji or another brand that will fit the Fuji 43.... or the Fuji 50...?

Thanks and have a nice Labor Day holiday.. Richard

The new carb can be most any Walbro carb from a similar sized engine. You really only need to know whether the engine uses an internal or external pulse to the carb pump. Check Mile High RC or Valley View RC for various carbs. I would think a DLE 35 or 55 carb could easily work. A spacer from another engine could work on the Fuji. Is the engine piston ported (carb on side) or does it use a reed valve? Either way other engine parts can be adapted. If piston ported, look at the Zenoah spacers or you could easily make one from thick G-10. Be a modeler, adapt and overcome!

If all else fails give Ralph Cunningham a call @ 928 220 5721
He can custom make the parts for you.
