Default Saito 20 oil type

I have a Saito gas 4 stroke 20cc, can I use Pennzoil 2 stroke oil at 20-1 or do I need a 4 stroke oil?

Just about any good quality 2,stroke oil will work fine.
Pennzoil is a mid/grade oil and perfectly acceptable

If all else fails, check the owners manual. I believe Saito calls for 100% synthetic 2 stroke oil. Red Line Racing oil or Stihl Ultra are two oils generally considered to be excellent for our applications. Horizon sells an oil under the Evolution brand if you want to stick with Horizon products.

Depending on when your engine was made, it may or may not have a bronze bushing on the big end of the rod. Just in case it isn't bushed, I'd use the best oil I could find.

Saito actually recommends Redline, but I use Amsoil Saber in both my 57 and FG 84. It doesn't burn as good, so you get more blowby into the crankcase, or so they say. I ran Cool Power synthetic that was highly recommended, all it did was put carbon deposits on the valve seats so bad I had to take the 57 apart and clean it due to no compression in 1 cylinder. I use Redline in all my 2 strokes with great results.
