Default Fuel tubing

Hello,

Does anyone have an opinion on the Sullivan pro flex fuel tubing, for inside and outside the tank.
know about Viton but think it might be to flexible to be used as a pick up line with the klunk.

Thank you to all.

Viton too flexible? From my experience Pro Flex is a bit more flexible at normal temperatures than Viton yet at colder temps the Pro Flex gets much stiffer. I tried Pro Flex in a couple of planes and went back to Viton and Tygon. The Pro Flex was an expensive and disappointing experiment.

Thanks truckracer, saw your other post, trying to touch all bases. Like I said on the other forum I’m concerned about it bending back on itself with the klunk on.

Thank you again

If you are concerned about it bending back on itself, insert a piece of aluminum or brass fuel tubing inside the clunk line to stiffen it. Very common practice in larger gas engine tanks.

I’ve heard of some people using a short piece of plastic drinking straw over the clunk line to stiffen it. I’ve never tried that though.
