Default metal fuel tank question

Greetings
I'm finishing up a 1/4 scale sopwith camel by Balsa USA. I couldn't find a gas tank that fit well so I soldered copper tubing into the lid of a sig (metal) dope thinner container. Is it okay to use a metal tank?
Regards-
Tom

That has been the standard in aviation for years, as well as control-line modeling, free-flight, etc. Good job!

Default Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. Iíve seen metal tanks but I wasnít sure if vibration or fitting strength would be an issue with a gasoline application. Iím going to use it.
