Has anyone ever tried the stihl [remixed gas they sell that supposedly does not contain methanol? I was thinking of trying it.

Maybe you can give it a try and tell us how it went, just make sure that the ratio of oil : gas used is in-keeping with the standards we normally use for our model engines.

Default oil mix

The Stihl is 50:1 and some of our engines like 20:1, 30:1, 50:1. Make sure your engine will do well with 50:1 and if it won't you can add oil and change the mix.

I think 50:1 is about 2 1/2 oz. oil per gal. of gas.

20:1 is 6.2 oz oil to one gal.
You can add oil to the 50:1 mix , to get what you need. But stay with the same oil , to mix in.
anyone should jump in, if you see a problem with my figures>
