Default Quadra 42 pressure fitting

I need to add a crankcase pressure fitting to a quadra 42 for a smoke system and looking for recommendations on position before I crack the case open. Any ideas? Also, best way to prime this thing when cold and inside a cowling?

thanks
Carl

I can't help you on the smoke fitting but if you can stick your finger against the carb and pull the motor through with full throttle on that's how I prime. Ignition off, of course. Keep pumping the prop until the end of your finger is wet.

Default Primer bulb

Have you ever tried putting a small in-line primer bulb on? Once I squirting fuel into the carb to prime it it fires right up. Main problem is when it's coold. Even pulling the prop the
prop through doesn't seem to do the trick.
