Default EME 60 with starter

Hello community about a EME 60 with starter old new in box. I heard that starter is not perfect and it can stop engine in flight.
I thought exchange it from a EME 60 without starter because it start well without starter.
Do you know something like that?Is it easy to remove it?
Thank you so much for your advice.

There's a one way bearing, I don't see how it could stop the engine in flight.

I have one on a P-47 mounted to a DLE55 and never had an issue with the starter. If you need nose weight in a warbird it's the way to go
