Brison 3.2 High end adjustment
I' new to gas. Had richen to the low end just a tad. Does this mean I need to lean out the top end a bit to keep the same top end? Also, after retarding the throttle back after a high speed run, the engine seems to bark and snap a bit (not backfire)as it idles down. Is this normal? I wish this thing had a remote needles so you could make adjustments while engine was running. I guess a tach is the only way to tell your at max top-end. My ear can't tell!
Thanks,
Mike.

Yes, you need a tach for tuning. Opening the low needle will richen the engine over the whole throttle range (unlike a glow engine carb). So, you are right, you may have to lean the high needle after richening the low needle - but you need to check it with a tach. Adjust the low needle for quick acceleration from idle to about 1/3rd throttle. Then adjust the high needle on the rich side of max rpm (about 100 rpm down on the rich side).
