Just curious, how are you measuring your engines rpm while in the air.....as in flying?

The early RCS 140 came with a 9000RPM cut off built into the ignition system. Because of this I could not use a 16-8 and went to the 17-8. It still would hit the cut off if I used full throttle.

How about the FPE 1.3 engine?

This would seem to be a small enough gas engine.

Didier,

Your mount plate for the SM30 looks good.

This engine looks well suited to our needs, but right now is a bit expensive. Hopefully there will be some competition in this size soon to bring the price more in line.

Lightest engine in the 120 size plan is going with a super tiger 2300 converted to gas. it is a great running engine
