Default Zenoah G-62 BACKFIRING???

Hey Guys...

My G-62 has just developed a problem when full throttle - on ground and airborne. It sputters only at high RPM and has actually backfired. I've never seen this before over several years of running these engines.
I do utilize a Reichmuth ignition system, so I'm inclined to believe one of the hall-effect sensors has failed?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

I could, but I would be ASSuming....Oh Well....
Reichmuth ignitions use two hall sensors, one for low speed and the other for high..There is a crossover point where they switch from one to the other..Maybe the high speed sensor is not working right...It should be possible to switch sensor connections so that the high speed sensor comes into play first..If the sensors connect into the circuit with Dean's connectors they could just be switched...If they're connected into a Y connector this can't be done...
Hope I didn't ASSume too much here
D&B engines bought the rights to Reichmuth ignitions...Info is a phone call away....[8D]
