DA-50 Carb linkage
I'm planning to use a servo for my choke, I would like to know if I need to grind off the stock arm and add a nose wheel arm or Fabricate something out of a wheel collar. I have a hitech HS-322 or HS 422HB I can use.
Thanks for any guidance!

RE: DA-50 Carb linkage
For the choke, I used the stock arm and added a ball link to connect to carbon fiber rod. For the throttle I ground off original arm. I used a dubro nose wheel arm and again used ball link to connect.

R/C Foolish, Thanks! The throttle arm is atatched with a socket head cap screw, and is anidized red, and threaded for a 2-56 screw.
What servo did you use on the choke?

RE: DA-50 Carb linkage
I'm using a Futaba BB mid-sized servo on the choke. I don't remember the number off hand. I removed the little ball out of the choke butterfly so the servo holds the choke in place, and it doesn't lock. There wasn't enough "umph" on the servo to move the lever. Here is my setup:
the threaded 4-40 rod goes to a nylon ball link on the choke arm (4-40) and to a 4-40 ball link at the servo. The throttle is on a Hitec 225 using a carbon fiber reinforced nyrod to 2-56 ball links on each end. Really easy, once I got the holes in the firewall figured out and the mounting method for the choke servo.
