Anyone have some DB readings to share, preferably stock, but info with aftermarket mufflers is good as well.

If so, please list muffler and prop.

95/96 db at 9 feet all around the plane, stock muffler, Zinger 16-8 @ 8220 rpm, on snow with a temp about 20 F.

Used a radio shack meter.

Thanks AJC... Pushing our limit, 92DB at 3 meters, so I'll need to look to some other prop selections possibly.

Remember thats in cold winter air, with the plane sitting on the snow (it was too big to get someone to holdoff the ground).

I would think with a different prop choice (perhaps a 16x10) and maybe a Bisson (or other) aftermarket muffler you would get under 92. Its definitely possible, as even stock the engine is not "loud"... compared to many small glow engines that is.
