Wayne you might consider the 1.8.. The weight will be less than your 41 and the power will be more. As Tim on "home improvement" would say,, "Ugh Ugh,, more power" less weight. Jim

Hi mr. Scale, While you and Handglider have decided to sell your stingers, I am changing my engine to a Brison 2.4 in hopes of being able to lose a lb. or two. Should pull a lot better also. I will post the weight and performance here. Wayne M.

I would fly the stinger with the new saito 2.2. I had a st 3000 on mine and then went to the saito 1.8 and it flies great, If I built it again I would cut the foam out between the ribs extend the main spar about 6" and use the 2.2

Just my $.02.. hope it helps.. Jim

Hi all, I finnaly got the brison 2.4 installed and flew it with a 20x8 zinger prop. It weighs 14.1 lbs now and the performance is a lot better. Almost unlimeted verical and the c.g. is back to the rear position on the plans. It will flat spin nice now, but scared me when it wanted to keep spinning. Came out o.k. Later Wayne
