Default Engine Selection Help

I have a set of RCM plans for a quarter scale Stolp Starduster Too. These plans were designed around an ST2000, back in 1990. I would like to move to gas, but have no experience in this arena. The Starduster is a sport biplane with wing area in the neighborhood of 1450 square inches. If the plane weighs in at the design weight of 16 pounds, this results in a wing loading of around 31 oz. per sq. ft.

Any help will be appreciated. This plane is not an aerobat, but is more of a "Sunday Flier", and will, in all likelihood, be flown that way.

A US 41 or one of it equivalents would be fine. Maybe a Zenoa G38.
