Default zenoah g45 throttle arm

How do you remove the stock throttle arm? Looks like you need to grind off the top of the shaft that is through the arm. I am putting on another arm with a set screw so I can reposition it. That is the only way I can see to do it but thought I would ask first. Thanks.

That's the way to do it. You probably know this already, but be sure to grind a flat spot on the shaft for the set screw and use a little locktite on the threads.
