I found it at Albertson's grocery stores, in the auto oils section. Go figure.

Joe: Thank's for the info. John has his Da 100 ( Edge) up and running and it takes two of us to hold on to it when he runs it up. My Wield Hare is about ready to go but when I went to buy this ##### oil nobody carries it. I found a company on line but the min. buy is 12 cans pluse shipping. I only need two cans for break in. Hope to see you at the field soon (week days you know) but I know your wwoooorking. Tom

How about checking with a small engine shop or dealer that works on and sells Lawnboy lawnmowers.

Near me, True Value Hardware and Ace Hardware both carry it, in addition to Sears Hardware. Also, if you look up Lawnmowers or Lawn & Garden Equipment in the yellow pages, you will likely find Lawnboy lawnmower dealers near you that also carry the oil.

Good luck!

I think there is some kind of environmental restrictions in CA & the only oil of this kind available in CA has been on the shelves for 5 yrs. Any new store, such as Lowe's, Sears, SavOn or Walmart, will not stock it, here anyway. If sombody out there knows differently, please let me know. Tom

Tom, Savon has it. I get it there. !~). I have heard about the enviromental thing too. Also have heard that they reformulated it and it was off the shelves for a while.

Don't just buy two cans, that's only good for 4 gallons, buy 5, and burn 10 gallons of that stuff. You can hear and feal as the DA100 runs in and comes alive, and four gallons is not enough.

Looking forward to it Jens! I got about 4 through it now and can't imagine needing more power. The mej 27-10 already rips at 3/4. I'll keep it on LBA until 10 gallons and go to amsoil. The 2.6 is a blast and so easy to 3D and imac.
Jens, lets do some flying! Do I gotta come down to whittier?

Joe,
Go to a Mejzlik28x10, or buy my NX28x10, of course it's ripping the 27x10. I've been sorting out my problems with my Herbie and Yak, but seem to have it all fixed now, just need to run that engine in. I will probably be at WN next Sat. and SB on Sun. I lost my cell phone, so I lost your numbers (not that you ever answered, punk) so send me a PM with a way to reach you. I also need to get some smoke oil, hook me up with Jason Somes eh? I flew the Yak Saturday, and it really sucks down all 50 oz of gas in 10 minutes he he. I think I had 5 oz left, or less, when landing he he.

Ok, here is the skinny as it was told to me. California, Oregon and Washington will not sell any new oil ,but any old on the shelf can be sold untill gone. The new formulation has an ingredient that allows the particals to mix and stay mixed over the life of the oil. These particals allow the break-in to be accelerated but should not be used any longer than the manufacture suggests to keep excessive wear to a minimum. The new formulated oil is still not sold on the west coast. Tom
