My opinion was not about the engine, it was only to say different props make a huge difference...Maybe I should base my posts on the average level of comprehension, like TV programs

Keith, you just have to take what RC posts with a grain of salt, the majority of people who read these forums know he is just here to Troll and Bash and tell us the truth according to him. So good luck with the new motors and I for one am looking forward to the results of any new endeavors you might try! It's nice to see someone trying to bring us something new instead of sitting in front of their computer trying to find something wrong with everything that's not the same as what's in there hanger. Maybe they should spend a little more time learning to be constructive instead of destructive!

Floater.

A guy on RR has installed a BME90 into a heli, just started doing test flights with it:

I am quite interested from both aspects, would like to go both fixed wing and heli with this engine depending on the reports.

I only get about 9,500 with ST .61 with a Master Airscrew K Series 13x5. So that .90 for not being broken in seems to be doing well. It seemed to take a while to get my ringed .61 fully broken in.

I have one I put in my 80" Cub...It is replacing an 0.S 90 4-stroke. Just about ready to fire it up, hopefully this week sometime.

Hey!!!! Here's a novel idea! If you want one of these Super Tigre gassers, buy it. If you don't want one, don't buy it. No body is making any body buy anything. Man, so much for advancing the options available to us. Hang in there Keith. You're gonna sell a bunch of these. Joe Butch.

Wow, talk about overpowered! I had a GP Cub ARF with a .40 ST on it, and it would take off a half throttle. You'll have enogh power for some torque rolls!

I know, but I didn't have an engine for it and wanted to try a gasser... Plus it was ok with the 90 4-stroke I had on it before...and once the floats are back on, well, should be ok.

I'm all for more power! It'll help with the floats for sure. Did you get a chance to start it?

I'm not a big fan of mega-overpowering but I always go the max plus a little.....I wasn't sure what kind of power this engine will make so I figured this would be my test bed. Haven't started it yet....but it shouldn't be long now!

Well got it started up today...and it runs real nice. Remember this is my first gasser and the only engines I have owned are 4-strokes and for right outta the box I'm impressed, very smooth, nice transition. Well see how it is in the air. I'm a happy camper.

ORIGINAL: torque wrench

RC, since you don't have one of the engines your opinion is completely invalid. No data, no proof, nada.
Good to see a RCU staffer rushing in to protect an advertising client.
Say what the h#ll you want... just pay for the space.

I was not aware that they are an RCU sponsor until you mentioned it and I looked, I do not comment on engines that I don't own, and don't understand why others do. Fair is fair.

Ralph, I was protecting BME because I got tired of so many guys bustin on an engine the nobody even owned yet, that has changed now and a few guys have them, the same thing happend to the new OS 120AX before it was even released. Magic maybe or engine ESP.

Anyone else think this motor might be the ticket for a Sr. Telemaster?
