Prop For 40cc Gasser
I am just finishing up a Sig Extra 300XS with a BCMA-SPE40 (40cc gasser). I would like to get enough thrust for 3-D. Can anyone suggest some good props for this? This is my first quarter scale, and first gasser, so any suggestions are also welcome.
Thanks Bob

Bob,
Try this web page. It has a lot of good information about picking the right prop for your engine.

I am getting a new Brillelli 54cc once Scott has them ready and I will be going with a NX 22x8 or 23x8 prop to start with. My Brillelli 54cc will be going on a 80" Cap-232.
Good Luck

RE: Prop For 40cc Gasser
Thanks guys for your input. I looked at that page, and the reccomendation above. Based on that I believe I'll go with a 20X8 Pro Zinger. Any thoughts?

I would not use Zinger. Stick with good wood props like Menz, MSC, Airwild NX etc. Buying a more expensive 40 cc gas engine and then throwing a lower quality prop on it doesn't make sense.
