Default DA-50R real world numbers

Wanting to find out what pilots are getting in the real world with various prop and exhaust combo's.

I'm turning 7200 rpms (peak lean was 7360) with DA stock exhaust and Xoar 22 x 8 prop at approx 85 degrees 500 feet msl.

This subject may have been beat into the ground in other threads, but let's give it a go anyway.

There is a forum specifically for tachometer readings. You might run a search in that forum.

Or do a search in this forum. It has been beat to death and the information is all here, if you just search for it.

Thanks for the heads up. I had done some searching, but didn't realize there was a specific tachometer forum. I'll browse over there. Meantime, I'll check this thread if anyone cares to post further.

yer engine is running just fine --on that prop and muffler in the situation you describe -
stay away from the peak lean--
on a given day the weather can easily alter the numbers - A LOT -you will see -also a cold run will put up more than a second or third run - etc..

Just the sort of info I was looking for. Thanks, everyone. I'm going to try a Vess 23A today. I'll let you know what I get with that.
