My Venom 45 ran very well until the plane was mid-aired. When the engine hit the ground, the case broke into many pieces. As long as your crank holds up you will have a good engine. If you run the plane into anything or have a prop strike you may be done.

I have a nearly brand new V45 from back in the day when Copperhead was supporting them. I've run about a gallon of fuel through this thing but it was not quite enough to pull my 16 lb 28% Edge 540T around but it did run great and was very reliable. I replaced it with a G62 clone that does great. I still have the engine but it is kind of an odd size (and weight for its size) to go into many planes. Make me an offer and I'll get it to you with a full money-back guarantee if you don't like it. It would be nice to have a spare or a second to run in another plane. I'll let it go cheap. Let me know if you're interested. I might even have a couple of props that I'll throw in for free. I believe I have a Xoar 21x8 and a couple cheapies.

Thanks,
Gary

I have a brand new, never been run V 45 that I would sell for any reasonable offer. Not going to fly it since there is no longer any support.
