Default Adapter for ZENHOAH G-62

Hi All,

Recently I did buy an engine Zenoah G-62 to put in a Cessna 150 - hostetler and did I verify that the screw that presses the helix has a hole in the center that is to press the spinner, only that the hole is of 5/32 inchs and the spinner is of 3 1/2 of length, which adapter should use in this case??

Thanks for the attention

Give RCIGN a call. Perhaps you don't need an adaptor at all.

Then again, Ralph may jump in and asnwer your question about what will be the best or easiest method of retaining the spinner over the prop on a G-62. Long center bolt and size or an adaptor.

There are several U.S. mail order firms that cater to hardware in sizes that you and I use on our models. Usually you can obtain a fairly large quantity of these items at extremely low pricing. I would think low enough that the cost of importing them would still leave them an attractive alternative to what you may have locally. The up side is that the additional quantity you have left over could be sold to flying friends that need the same hardware, making your end cost zero if you plan things a little.

Microfastener.com, McMaster-Carr.com are two that I can think of right off hand. If you get the right size and length of the part it might be worth looking into. Send a PM to RCIGN for that info.
