Zenoah G-45 Performance Specs
I have a new G-45.
Static thrust with a J Zinger 20 x 8 is 18.5 lbs, and varies a little bit with rpm's.
I did see 19 twice, but 18.5 is consistent.
My tach seems to have crapped out, so no rpm readings for you.
Never had this engine before.
Does 18.5 lbs static sound pretty much in the ball park?

RE: Zenoah G-45 Performance Specs
I have this engine on a Stinger 120 arf. I use a bambula 20-8, and can accelerate going straight up from takeoff, snap and then keep pulling straight up. I'd guess the plane weighs about 13-14 pounds, and they say you have to have 1.5 times thrust/weight for unlimited vertical. SO, I guess 18-20 pounds sounds reasonable. The performance with the bambula was much better than a 20-10 pro-zinger. Not an exact answer to your question, but actual experience in the real world. I love the engine. I use no spring starter, but do have a jumpstart from CH I use for cranking. It can bite you if you are casual about hand starting with the stock ignition.
