Default Walbro Carb Cleaning

It has been said in this forum but I will say it again.

Check the screen in your Walbro carb every 1-2 gallons of gas you run through them. I just completed the breakin of a pair of MVVS 26 cc gassers and when I started to see some power loss, I pulled the cover and guess what, both screens were about half plugged with junk. I used a small filter on the gas storage tank but that didn't help. The screen works but you have to keep it clean.

Just a heads up.

Thats why I use a felt clunk in my gas can and my fuel tanks. Not much gets past a felt clunk.

I use a large car type paper filter in my fill bottle line, NO T-line to the tank, felt clunk in the tank.
My carb screens stay clean since the day I switched to this system.

Other system that also stays clean:
a large car type paper filter in my tank fill line inside the plane, NO T-line to the tank, clunk without filter in the tank.

I use a Jersey Modler Jug and it has a filter in the clunk and a nice inline filter as well before it even gets to the plane
