Brian,
could you list your RCI engines their weight, planes, props and RPMS? I'm very interested in his ideas of a 32oz 20cc range engine. I have ideas of what planes they might go well in.
Congratulations on your new engine.

RE: Ralph "again"....
Well I'm just an every day flyer and do not tack very many models.. I did tack the G26 I had on the last Hanger 9 Ultra Lite Stick and it was turning 9200 on a APC 16x8. The USL just howls on that G26. I'm finding the G38 on my Rearwin Speedster is one nice combo. The G62s the G38s and the 3 G26 I bought or had Ralph convert ran the best of any gas motor I have ever owned.. I buy and sell a number of models and try to get models that work well with G26s G38s and G62.. Never had one problem with any of Ralphs motors or needed repair or had to return any motor with his ignition.. They all Start "very" easy and operated day in and day out.. That is what I go by.. His ignitions have a life time warrenty.. One Brison 2.4 I had was returned 3 times.. That ain't my idea of fun.. Hope that is helpful.

I too am a very satisfied Ralph customer, and own two engines converted by him. The G23 at 40 oz. spins an APC 17x6 at 9,200 rpm, while the G20 at 32 oz including ignition, battery and a lightweight muffler turns a 16x8 Zinger at 6,500 which is not at all shabby.

RE: Ralph "again"....
Can you Please advise who "Ralph" is..........I am new to gas motors and have just ordered a new G26 for a project. It sounds like "Ralph" has the respect of his customers who have chosen to upgrade their Zenoahs with electronic ignition. If I decide to do so I might as well deal with a fellow with a good reputation.
Thank You

Never mind.........I found the RC Ignitions site. It appears to be be a good forum for reference for a guy who is new to gas burners. I already learned fellows are successfully using props other than the 16X8 with good results. If I decide to go with the electronic ignition it sounds like Ralph is the acknowledged expert.
Thanks.
Bob.

Hi Karol
In a previous post you had said that the "Ralph Special" G20 turned a 16 x 8 prop at 8,500 rpm. Which of the two figures are correct?

My initial quote of 6,500 rpm was a brain fart [:'(] The correct rpm noted for G20 on a 16x8 was 8,500 rpm.
