Default G20EI Position on Sr. Tele Firewall?

Hi All,

I cut 1.5 inches off of the nose of my Sr. Telemaster and pegged in a new firewall, followed by fiberglass on the inside. If I line up my prop shaft with the original centerline my upper two screws for mounting the G20EI are too close to the top edge of the firewall. Will it affect anything if I drop it 1/2 inch or so from the original centerline?

Thanks...Brian

There will no noticeable effect of a lower engine position on that airframe
