Yeah, I just did, thanks ! I see theirs has a choke ! $225.00 is fine, if their in the USA and shipping is reasonable, for me anyway. My friend needs two for a Cessna. I see they also state the ign voltage as 4.8 to 6.7, so my 2000ma 6 volt NiHM batt is just fine. If shipping is $8.00 to $12.00 now, we'll be very happy. Thanks for the website ! Dennis

ok i ran my 2nd engine today. runs awesome. dialed the high and low needle valves and i'm very happy. but my first engine is not so good. i have run maybe a 1/2 a gallon thru it. i've changed carbs, mufflers, gas mix., everything mentioned in this web site. the problem from the start and still is when i try to give it full gas it dies. everytime. any suggetstions? i've looked on the web for a new stock carb, or even a rebuild kit. could not find any.

Here's an 18x8 Master Airscrew Classic on an SV26 and a 16 pound Stearman. Works well...

It appears that you tube is having a problem. The video is still there, but off and on now...

ngk bpmr6f spark plug. hey freeonthree, what gasket material did you use, and where did you get it? it's the only thing i can come up with thats bad on the carb side of things. by the way it's a hard to find spark plug. but if you read thru the past entries you'll find where to buy. i don't remember off hand it's been some time. however iv'e found that the plug cap doesn't fit very well. may need to make some adjustments.

You can buy an NGK BPMR6F spark plug, and gasket material for your engine, at Napa Auto Parts.
The metal sleeve on the plug cap fits very tight, and thats a good thing. I also wire tie around the plug cap and to the bolt entry hole in the top cooling fin of the cylinder just in case.
Make sure your head has a tapered seat if you use the BPMR6F. The SV26 has the tapered seat. Some engines use a spark plug with a gasket though... Dennis

Is the RCS SV50 a different engine than the SV 50 that has been talked about in this thread?

I don't know, but if it is, I sure hope they fixed the balance of the crankshaft, and also the problem of the rod sliding off the pin. I can't believe they even let those engines go out the door. I call that a huge lack of engineering and quality control. Dennis

HobbyCity has the SV26 single and the SV50 and SV100cc twins listed on their website again. And they even have some in stock.

The SV50 single isn't listed, so I would guess the manufacturer still doesn't have the bugs worked out.

The RCS SV50 is a different engine than what was formerly listed as SV50. This new engine is a rip from the DL50 as it's wearing the cylinder jug from the DL50, but has its own CNC machined crankcase.

Hi guys! More Thanks for all information.
The engine (SV-26) has been modified according to your advice. rpm range: 1500-8600 with prop Master Airscrew 16*8, thrust - 5.4-5.6kg (12-12.3 Pounds)
I placed the sv-26 aboard the Katana (0.40 glow size - wingspan 1400mm - 55") It flies http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHU9kiktQLY

It fell out, or flew out ? I assume it's gone... Do you need help locating a new hub ? Dennis
