quadra 100 info????????
i am thinking about picking up a quadra 100 on electronic ignition. i was wondering if anyone had any performance numbers on them? i am interested in running a 27" prop probably a 27a vess. the engine has a bennett built three outlet muffler. can i expect 100cc twin power with this engine? i am going to install it in the g and l hobbies ultimate probably about 28 or 29 lbs. ready to fly. i currently have a fpe 95cc that turns a 26a vess at 6000 and a 27a vess at 5600. i would like to have a little more power.

Quad 100 will turn a PT 26x10 around 6200-6300. I think if it was a Vess 26A you would get similar numbers.. maybe a few more.
The only 100s out there that are going to turn a 27" prop well are from DA, ZDZ, 3W, and BME.
Either that or get a DA 85 or 3W 85 They will turn a 27 after nicely broken in.
