Default 3W 56iB2 owners

I have made some changes to my 56 twin. I changed the carb to a Walbro WT 56 A. Also I made up a two into one header to be able to run just one pipe. The carb change is to get a larger bore but be lighter and smaller in size than the stock carb. The two into one header was to be able to cut the weight of another canister/pipe. Believe me the difference is night and day verses stock carb/mufflers. The pipe I'm using now is a Macs 60cc quiet pipe. To make the pipe fit a plane it was going into I cut it down from 26" to 20" and re-welded it. The engine still comes up on the pipe from about 5/8 throttle up and doesn't seem to have hurt it's power. The pipe now weighs 6.5 oz, thats only two oz more than ES composits CF pipe at 4.7 oz.

Pics of can mounts coming.

Acording to Macs -------->http://www.macspro.com/ They can make the 50/60cc pipes per order. To reduce weight order one less than 20" tip to tip.

I made up these soft mount can mounts and they work very good. I form them around a 2 1/8" OD socket. The tabs that clamp around the can have to be very close to touching so it does not colapse the tube when tightening.

You have been busy, are you brining that tomorrow?? I might have to have you build a 2 into 1 straight pipe for me.

Thanks for the great pictures of your install, Altavillan. I'm rebuilding my aerobat and can use your example as a way to run my cannister.
Thanks again,
Sam
